Project spotlight - Roof and external repaint
After painting sections of this home in the leafy suburb of Chapel Hill over 20 years ago, we were welcomed back to paint the exterior. We started with the multi-faceted roof, which had been poorly painted by a previous company, and required extensive work to remove the existing coating. We also experienced unseasonal wet weather, which provided extra challenges when dealing with safety, scheduling and paint application! General repairs were carried out along the way and the original striking colour scheme was reapplied.
The project has been entered into the Master Painters Association Queensland Excellence awards.

Client feedback
“I am in awe of the professionalism and perfection applied to the repainting of the exterior of my house. It’s been 26 years since this was done completely and the company attended to all the issues of rotting wood, poorly applied original roof paint, rusty gutters and weathered balustrades as well as balcony fencing. The house looks new! There is so much pride taken by the painters and owners of the company. They worked cleanly and were unobtrusive, respecting our privacy at all times and respecting our property always. I would recommend Charlton and Kate and East Coast Painters for their workmanship, communication and professionalism.”
